Teqtix Phenolic Foam
Fireproof insulation for the future.
Why you need Phenolic Foam instead of what you’re used to
Rhino-Phen® and Fire-phen® phenolic foam products surpass every common insulation product out there. In what? Good fire resistance, low toxicity, density of smoke and closed cell content combined with good thermal insulation values. Let us tell you all about it.
The Teqtix Phenolic Foam products are successfully tested and classified on fire behavior in accordance to the EN13501-1 and ASTM E84. Fire resistance tests gives you a clearer picture of the total performance of materials and constructions during a fire.
Most casualties in a fire are caused by smoke in the room. Not only due to the toxicity of the gasses. But also because of the density of smoke, people can no longer see emergency exits. Our products barely smoke. Especially compared to other foam insulation.
Many of the longer existing insulation materials use still standing air as their main insulator. However, still standing air limits other insulation products to meet thermal conductivity better than 0,030 W/mK. The lower the number, the better the thermal resistance of the construction.

Choose the perfect product range for your demands
It all depends on your projects’ goals and requirements. You may need a material for its low weight and good insulation values or a more fireproof foccused product. We can switch ranges, heights, moulds and so on. Whatever you need, we’re glad to get around the table and tell you what suits best for your wished application. It is even possible to test it in our lab.
Take a look at the possible applications
You are dealing with a manufacturer. Lucky you and your organisation. Because almost everything is possible. From sandwichpanels to tanks and vessels. Together with your preferred processors or our well-known partners we create anything you need. With the highest density, without melting and outperforming other insulation materials.
About insulation numbers
The thermal resistance ( R ) in m2/ W*K of a insulation material is defined by its thermal conductivity in W/m*K and often shown as y (upside down). When the desired R value is known, the necessary thickness can be calculated by multiplying R with y, which gives the thickness in meters. The official formula is: R = d y
